Association of Energy Sector is one of the oldest professional organizations which, according to available data, there in 1919. year. After World War II in 1945. founded the National techniques comprising the activity was the Association of Energy Sector. His own actions start with energy experts 1954th year. During the hundred-year existence, the Association of Energy Sector, in many institucionih process and organizational changes, gone through several development stages, and today as an independent professional organization gathered over three thousand members.

Association of Energy Sector The main task is to create optimal conditions for the development of the energy sector through the objectification of conflicting interests in the sector and will positively affect their consideration of multiple criteria.
Association formulates and establishes the common interests of all members, with the aim of creating a favorable atmosphere in the energy sector, which, with respect for the principles of positive leads to sustainable long-term prosperity of society.
Association of Energy Sector offers its members a wide range of help and information in the working areas, in establishing contacts with partners, such as seminars, conferences, participation in exhibitions and specialized events where opportunities are presented, the state and development needs of the energy economy of Serbia and domestic and foreign companies in the energy sector.
The goal of the Alliance is not only cooperation and identification of opportunities, but also the transfer of experience in the preparation for EU membership, obtaining information about promising areas for development cooperation, energy opportunities, entrepreneurial environment and privatization projects.
Realizing future development programs in the energy sector which podstsiče European Agency for Reconstruction and EU regulations for greater participation of renewable energy, energy efficiency and environmental protection, special attention will be devoted to ways of reducing environmental pollution, the level permitted in the EU norms, which membership of organized striving.
Market-oriented, energy has to be equal, reliable and serious partner in European integration.
